Birrerie Storiche d’Italia: the book deals with the story and promotional article relating to Italian beer-houses born a century ago and still active: Wuhrer, Zimmermann, Menabrea, Peroni, Forst, Moretti, Dreher, Poretti, Wunster, Italian Pilsen, Pedavena. Forty-eigthpages are dedicated to the beer-houses story, the other 160 pages all colored, enclose almost sixty years of publicitary articles. The period is between 1900 and 1960. In this age glasses, labels, signs, traies, playbills,posters and other article are realized with a particular care that will disappear after 1960.It is important to rember that posters, playbills and labels are often ordered to the best era illustrators like Dudovich, Codognato, Cappiello, Mauzan, Hohenstein. The book shows the most rare and iteresting 537 peaces from graphic point of view.Sumptuousness edition, size cm. 21x29,7, pages 208, yarn binding,cover bound in paper board. It costs 40 €.
